The Conflict Dynamics Profile® (CDP)

The Conflict Dynamics Profile® (CDP) is based on the Dynamic Conflict Model from the Center for Conflict Dynamics at Eckerd College and is a research-based assessment based on behaviors and assumes people can change their behaviors with awareness and coaching.

You will gain assessment and coaching skills to:

  • Administer the CDP®-I
  • Interpret the client’s CDP®-I report
  • Teach others about the Dynamic Conflict Model and the Path of Conflict
  • Enhance your coaching techniques to assist leaders and other clients to:
    • Adopting active constructive responses to conflict
    • Develop conflict responses and behaviors such as perspective taking, creating solutions, expressing emotions, and reaching out

 

Format:

During the first hour Craig Runde, PhD, Director of the Center for Conflict Dynamics, provides information on the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP). During the second hour, Curt Micka, J.D., a conflict expert and trained CDP Facilitator, delivers an interpretation of the CDP profile to an individual. Estimated learning investment is under three hours!
