Tanya Smith is a certified career management and branding expert specializing in providing career management resources. Often referred to as the “Promotion Coach”, she uses a blend of positive psychology, corporate savvy, and the most current career technologies to help first line and mid-management professionals feeling stuck at work, how to advance successfully in their careers so they can boost earning opportunities, while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.

Tanya founded the company, Design Your Work, in 2007 after having completed the first of several coaching & development certifications and a significant amount of inner and outer branding work.  She has over a decade of human resources employee relations experience with a Fortune 100 company, and a superior track record of coaching expertise.

Qualifications

Tanya’s professional background includes the distinguished designation of the Professional in Human Resources (PHR).  Other formal education includes a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration. Among several certifications, Tanya is a 360 Reach branding analyst, she is a qualified occupational and Myers-Briggs assessment administrator, and she is also a qualified Leadership Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Tanya earned her first career coaching certification in 2007 and formalized her calling to work with individuals and groups seeking to find and advance their career calling through Be Intention Career Coaching, later renamed Design Your Work. In 2008, she completed a professional certification under the Christian track in Leadership & Talent Management Coaching.
