Rythee is owner and CEO of Higher Focus Leadership Development, LLC, an executive coaching and human resources consulting firm that specializes in providing professional development solutions designed to propel leaders to function at their full potential and be phenomenal at what they do. She has a special passion for working with those who are early in their career, rising leaders, and those who find themselves in a leadership capacity without formal training..

Rythee has 25 years of experience and training in human resources management, including assignments in talent and leadership development, employee relations, organizational development, compensation, and human resource information systems. During this time, Rythee has leveraged her in-depth knowledge of human resources and of team and leadership development to coach mid- to senior level leaders and teams. The span of her coaching includes individuals in public sector, non-profit and for-profit organizations, in individual, group and team settings.

Stemming from her extensive experience in employee relations, Rythee’s focus in leadership training and coaching has naturally involved issues such as effective communication, building and sustaining effective interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, and stress management. Rythee also has experience training and coaching teams on topics related to greater team effectiveness, such as problem solving, communication styles, and cultural competence. Her focus is always on helping her clients to take ownership for their behavior and the changes they need to make in order to improve productivity and performance consistent with organizational goals.

Rythee has an exceptional ability to “speak the truth in love”, delving into tough topics with clients to bring to light feedback or information that may hindering a client’s effectiveness, but doing so in a way that leaves them empowered to make positive changes. She challenges clients to develop and stay focused on their vision for phenomenal leadership for themselves and for enhanced results for their teams. Her naturally inspirational, supportive and positive style has been described by clients as being just what they needed in order to think about situations in a new way for their professional growth and to realize results on leadership competencies important for their improved performance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Rythee holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. She is a Certified Leadership & Talent Management Coach and a Certified Career Management Coach, having completed training with programs accredited by the International Coach Federation. She is certified in the Center for Creative Leadership’s 360 degree leadership assessment suite (including Benchmarks and Executive Dimensions), and she is certified and has experience with the following assessments: Conflict Dynamics Profile, Cultural Orientations Indicator, Golden Personality Type Profiler, Hogan Leadership Forecast Assessment Series, and Work Behavior Inventory.
