Lesah Beckhusen

For over 25 years, Lesah has successfully guided clients through their
career crossroads while simultaneously developing a publishing business. She is the co-developer of Professional Pack and creator of Advance Pack, SkillScan Online and Career Driver Online, launched in 2009. These tools were developed to help individuals make better decisions about their career choices at all stages of their employment history from assisting career launchers target initial career options, aiding career transitioners evaluate the type of change needed and for all clients, gain a skill vocabulary for marketing themselves in the job search.

SkillScan is used by thousands of career development practitioners in universities, community
colleges, Fortune 500 corporations, adult career centers and private practices throughout the
United States.

Lesah has worked with clients in a wide variety of environments including community colleges,
outplacement firms, adult career centers, universities and held a private practice with a specialty
in working with attorneys in transition for over ten years. She actively provides train-the-trainer
programs to career counselors and coaches on how to maximize and integrate assessment
results to help clients gain a holistic picture of their unique career preferences.

Lesah has been on staff at the University of California Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of
Business for over 16 years. She is an Associate Director/Career Adviser where she works with
MBA students in all aspects of career development and concurrently manages her publishing
and training business. She holds a BA in Psychology and MS in Counseling from San Diego
State University.
